Making digital transformation work for people, businesses, and public sector organizations is a key priority for the European Commission. The “Digital Decade” lays down the vision to achieve Europe’s digital transformation by 2030 while setting specific targets in different areas. With this, many opportunities lie ahead for the digital transformation of the public sector. Some of the EU Institutions and agencies have already achieved efficiency improvements and increased interoperability by applying automation to the administrative processes.
