There is an old saying that no one likes change. In fact, in the workplace, change can be very unsettling for individuals and teams. People can find having to undertake new responsibilities or roles very stressful, and both wellbeing and productivity can suffer significantly. This training seminar looks at some practical ways that you can manage change in your organisation, so that the envisaged change can achieve its intended outcomes with a minimum of stress and friction along the way.

Who is the seminar designed for?

The seminar is designed for people working at all organisational levels, from leaders and senior managers with responsibility for leading change, through to line managers with responsibility for delivery, and anyone who needs to support colleagues and team members who may find change challenging.

How will you benefit from attending?

You will benefit from the examination and analysis of what works in change management and what to avoid. You will learn how to improve your planning and preparation processes, and develop a deeper understanding of empathy, effective communication and the power of listening. You will also plan how to interact with and constructively respond to resistance and achieve buy-in.

Learning Outcomes

You will:

  • understand the impact of different types of change on the individual, teams and the organisation
  • identify a range of strategies for leading and supporting people through change
  • understand the importance of effective communication at all stages in the change process
  • know what needs to happen for change to be successfully embedded in the organisation
  • Know how to communicate effectively in the change process
