Innovation incubators: How to move from pilots to adopting transformation at scale
Governments often find they need to create space to try new approaches and technology in government. Often this means that they create innovation labs or incubator units to try new approaches, with the aim of increasing capacity in government to deliver more modern, digitally-enabled public services.
This session will share insight from across the country – and around the world – on how to create space to develop and test new approaches in government. The panel will explore how digital services and innovation organizations can help move visions for digital transformation to implementation. We will also explore practical strategies for creating environments where innovation is not just permitted but expected in government — drawing on real examples of how internal culture shifts can unlock transformation.
