In terms of thinking, understanding the complex holistic whole in which a policy intervention will take place, while keeping focus on achieving defined goals is vital to success. In terms of design, a user-focused approach is very much the key to good design and optimum deliverability. In terms of action, an agile approach, potentially facilitated by real-time data and AI support, are very important. This seminar will examine how to achieve balance at every stage of the policy process, in order to better provide public services and meet a government’s policy programme.
