Over recent months, millions of civil servants have been learning how to work effectively from home, developing the skills and techniques to operate in a distributed workforce. And with COVID-19 likely to remain a threat for months to come, civil service organisations are now working to improve the equipment and systems used by staff – providing the home IT kit, network connections and collaborative tools to improve efficiency, security and wellbeing among home-workers.

At this free webinar, civil service leaders and technical professionals explored how government bodies can develop their central data systems, remote-access networks, home-working equipment, and workstream management tools to better support a distributed workforce – improving delivery today, while equipping themselves for a future in which flexible working is the rule rather than the exception. Considering both the equipment needed to support good health, morale and engagement among the workforce, and the systems required to ensure organisational security and efficiency, the webinar was of interest to many including senior leaders and line managers, and IT, digital, HR, commercial and security professionals.
