Overview
This training seminar provides an overview of the key aspects of a manager’s role, including on day one focusing on four essential core skills that will enable you to quickly deliver results and get recognition for your achievements. We will examine how best to manage time and priorities, plan strategically, communicate will all colleagues brilliantly, and manage upwards. These are four key areas that can make a massive difference to the perception of your performance as a new manager and enable you make further progress in your career.
On day two, we shall look at one of the trickiest role that any of us can undertake, which is managing other people well. We will look at how to build trust, how to stay ahead of the game in terms of managing your team’s workload, how you can influence productivity with regular channels of communication, and how to foster the spirit of collaborative effort, wherever you and your colleagues are situated.
