What are you most interested in discussing at Innovation 2025?

Innovative examples as to how governments are utilising their purchasing and contracting power in order to catalyse broader and sustainable social and economic outcomes.

What drew you to a career in the civil service? 

The possibility to pursue a meaningful professional career and to be able to contribute to a greater good.

What have you achieved in your career that you’re most proud of? 

To actually bear witness to both tangible and sustainable improvements in the lives of people.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your working life?  

Life is not about how many times you fall – it’s about how many times you get back up. 

What advice would you give someone starting out in the civil service? 

Take a deep breath, you will need a lot of staying power.

Can you name one lesson or idea that’s helped you and your colleagues?  

Rigorous perseverance will ultimately yield rewards.

What attributes do you most value in people? 

Honesty, loyalty, reliability.

What is your favourite thing to do at the weekends?  

Enjoying the Austrian Alps on foot, skis or mountain bike.
